After School

“Education is not something which the teacher does, but a natural process which develops spontaneously in the human being.”

Maria Montessori

Our After-School Program offers a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children after the regular school day ends. Children enjoy a balanced routine that includes educational activities, creative play, and quiet time. Afternoons are filled with enriching experiences such as coloring, dancing, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and snack time. It’s a joyful extension of the school day where children can unwind, explore, and continue learning in a relaxed, supportive setting.

Extra Curricular Programs

Dance

Our dance program celebrates each child’s individuality by nurturing movement, imagination, and motor skills through joyful, age-appropriate music. Designed with the “whole child” in mind, classes promote mind-body-spirit development in a playful and supportive environment. Children ages 3–5 can explore a variety of styles—including ballet, jazz hip hop, flamenco, and cheer—offered once a week as part of our enriching extracurricular options.

Soccer

Our on-campus soccer classes make it easy and fun for kids to get active—no extra pickups or drop-offs required! All equipment and materials are provided, so children can jump right into the action. Open to boys and girls ages 3–5, this weekly class keeps little ones engaged, active, and building skills all year long.

Tennis

Our afterschool tennis classes offer the perfect introduction to the game for young players! Held on campus once a week, these fun and engaging sessions teach children how to hold a racquet, practice basic strokes, and develop coordination in a supportive environment. Open to ages 3–5, the program is available during both Fall and Spring sessions. All equipment—including racquets, nets, and balls—is provided by our coaches, making it easy for kids to jump right in and enjoy the game.

Science

STEM Adventures at Gables Montessori is an exciting on-campus afterschool program that sparks curiosity through hands-on exploration. Children ages 2–6 dive into the worlds of science, technology, engineering, math, electronics, robotics, and design—all while participating in fun, eco-friendly activities. This engaging class meets once a week and offers a playful introduction to innovative thinking and problem-solving.

Piano

Piano lessons are offered on campus for children ages 2 and up. Each lesson is a private one-on-one session between teacher and student, providing personalized attention and instruction. Lessons are held once or twice a week, based on preference, and are optional. Scheduling is coordinated between the school and parents for convenience. Through these engaging sessions, children begin to explore music fundamentals, develop listening skills, and build a strong foundation in piano technique.

Art

Our on-campus afterschool art class is designed to nurture creativity and build confidence in young artists ages 2–6. Held once a week with the same dedicated instructor, students explore modern and historical works to deepen their understanding of art and artistic expression. Guided in a safe, supportive environment, children create their own original pieces while developing fine motor skills and creative thinking. All materials are provided—just bring your imagination!
