When I first opened the doors to Gables Montessori, I dreamed of creating more than just a school—I envisioned a peaceful, nurturing space where children could grow into confident, compassionate, and curious individuals. Rooted in the time-honored philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, our school is a place where each child is seen, respected, and encouraged to learn at their own pace, in their own unique way.

Philosophy
We follow the standards established by the American Montessori Society (AMS), founded in 1929 by Dr. Maria Montessori. Our commitment to these principles ensures an authentic and consistent Montessori experience—one that fosters curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning in every child.
Faculty
All of our lead teachers are certified through the AMS teacher training program. This comprehensive training, along with ongoing professional development, equips our guides to thoughtfully support each child’s unique strengths and developmental journey.
Facilities
Nestled in Little Coral Gables, our campus features two toddler classrooms, two primary classrooms, dedicated outdoor playgrounds for each age group, and a vibrant garden space for hands-on exploration.
